Through community involvement, education and dedication, Granite State FISH seeks to engage the general public and seafood consumers while strengthening the role of New Hampshire fishermen to ensure fishing remains a community-based business based on principles of ecological responsibility, economic sustainability, community stewardship and healthy food systems.

Welcome

Granite State FISH (GSF) was established in 2010 to serve and protect the commercial fishermen and the communities they serve. Fresh, local seafood is a 400-year tradition that has provided New Hampshire with a thriving economy and unique culture, as well as a nutritious and sustainable food source of superior quality.

GSF consists of fishermen, fishing communities and organizations with aligned visions and missions, working together to ensure fishing remains a community-based business based on principles of ecological responsibility, economic sustainability, community stewardship and healthy local food systems. NH fishermen are the backbone of Granite State FISH, as they play a primary role in promoting conservation, healthy communities, local economies and protecting NH fishing rights.
